Formed in 1999 by four time grammy nominated ex-Black Uhuru drummer 'Rangotan' and six time champion steel pan arranger \ director 'Sista D', Dis-N-Dat Band has been blazing a trail of vybes wherever they play... from Vermont to Florida and everywhere in between.
The band has backed international artist Turbulence, Everton Blender, Pato Banton, Yami Bolo, Army, Zema, Lady Saw, Sasha and many more. The Band has toured several times with UK Reggae superstar Pato Banton.... In an interview Pato said he was 'blown away' by the band. More recently, the band has been backing Tosh 1, son of the legendary Peter Tosh. The Band won best Caribbean Group at the 2009 New England Urban Music Awards (NEUMA) as well as the Joe Higgs Award for best performing band in 2009 as well. The band has recorded 6 albums under Dis-N-Dat Productions including Black Sheep, Revolutionary Women Vol.1, Revalation Time and Beyond you.
